  1. If engine or cruise control system main switch was turned off after problem occurred, go to next step. If engine and cruise control system main switch were not turned off, check for trouble codes (ensure engine is running and system main switch is on).   2. Try to reset system. If system cannot be reset, check for trouble codes. See RETRIEVING CODES under SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEMΒ . If system can be reset, try to duplicate symptom during test drive. If symptom reoccurs, check for trouble codes. See RETRIEVING CODES under SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEMΒ . If symptom does not re-occur, check for poor harness connections and/or damaged wiring harness.
