Coolant Temperature Sending Unit

1998 Hyundai Sonata Base, StandardSECTION Coolant Temperature Sending Unit

Turn ignition off. Using ohmmeter, measure resistance between ground and coolant temperature sending unit terminal. Replace coolant temperature sending unit if resistance is not as specified. See COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENDING UNIT RESISTANCE TESTΒ  table. If resistance is as specified, check coolant temperature gauge. See COOLANT TEMPERATURE GAUGE.
