Mode Switch (Range Switch)

- Disconnect electrical connector for mode switch and note terminal switch identification. See Figure . Mode switch is located on passenger's side of shift lever, near console.
- Ensure mode switch is in released position to the NORM mode. Using ohmmeter, ensure continuity exists between specified terminals. See MODE SWITCH CONTINUITY SPECIFICATIONSΒ table.
- Depress mode switch to the PWR mode. Using ohmmeter, ensure continuity exists between specified terminals. See MODE SWITCH CONTINUITY SPECIFICATIONSΒ table. See Figure . Replace mode switch if continuity is not as specified.
