Description & Operation
Power-assisted rack and pinion steering system consists of a vane pump, flow control valve and an oil reservoir. The belt-driven vane pump supplies fluid through hoses to a flow control valve. The flow control valve supplies fluid to the rack and pinion steering gear.

When to See a Mechanic
