Proportioning Valve
1994 Hyundai Excel GL, StandardSECTION Proportioning Valve
- Install 2 pressure gauges that will measure to at least 2000 psi (140.6 kg/cm2 ) to input and output sides of proportioning valve. See Fig 1 .
- Measure both input and output pressure with brakes applied. See Fig 2 . If measured pressures are NOT within specification, replace proportioning valve. See PROPORTIONING VALVE TEST SPECIFICATIONS table. DO NOT disassemble proportioning valve.
