Air Conditioner Relay Location:
To test the Air Conditioning Relay, located in the engine compartment, proceed as follows.

Air Conditioner Control System:
1. Remove the Air Conditioning Relay.
2. Test terminals L and B for continuity, there should be no continuity.
3. Apply 12v power across terminals S1 and S2.
4. Test terminals L and B for continuity, there should be continuity.
5. If the relay fails either test replace the relay.
NOTE: In referencing the wiring schematic in ELECTRONIC AND ELECTRICAL DIAGRAMS, the terminals 2 and 4 correlate to terminals L and B as marked on the relay. Additionally terminals 1 and 3 correlate to S1 and S2 as marked on the relay.
