Pressure Control Solenoid Valve (PCSV)
The TCM controls transaxle shifting by delivering an output signal to pressure control solenoid valve. Pressure control solenoid valve may also be referred to as oil pressure control solenoid valve. Pressure control solenoid valve is operated in accordance with gear position. See PRESSURE CONTROL SOLENOID VALVE OPERATIONΒ table. Pressure control solenoid valve is mounted on valve body assembly. See Figure . On all models except Sonata, pressure control solenoid valve has a Yellow wire. On Sonata models, the pressure control solenoid valve has a Red/White wire.

When to See a Mechanic
Stop DIY work and contact a certified mechanic immediately if any of the following apply:
