Safety Warning
DIY auto repair can cause serious injury, fire, or vehicle damage. These guides are for informational purposes only. Always follow OEM torque specs, wear PPE, and consult a certified mechanic if you are unsure. You are solely responsible for your safety.
Security Alarm System
The security alarm system automatically arms after the doors, the hood, and the tailgate are closed and locked. For the system to arm, the vehicle mode must be OFF (LOCK) mode and the MICU must receive inputs that the doors, the hood, and the tailgate are closed and locked. The alarm can be disarmed at any time by unlocking the driver's door with the mechanical key or pressing the UNLOCK button on the remote or smart function.
