How to Enter VSA System Maintenance Mode: Procedure
- Maintenance Mode - Enter
NOTE:Β - Entering condition of VSA Maintenance ModeΒ .
- When the VSA Maintenance Mode is activated, the VSA and TCS functions are disabled.
- During the Maintenance Mode, the VSA OFF indicator flashes and the VSA indicator is on. When the vehicle is turned to the OFF (LOCK) mode or the VSA OFF switch is pressed again, the Maintenance Mode is cancelled and both indicators go off.
- If you do not properly follow the steps to enter the VSA maintenance mode, or you do not complete the procedure within 30 seconds, turn the vehicle to the OFF mode, wait for 10 seconds, and try again.
- When the VSA detects a malfunction, the Maintenance Mode is cancelled.
1. Turn the vehicle to the ON mode and do the following procedure within 30 seconds.
2. Release the parking brake and hold down the brake pedal.
3. While holding down the brake pedal, press and hold the VSA OFF switch. When the VSA OFF indicator turns on, press and hold the VSA OFF switch again until the VSA OFF indicator goes off.
4. Release the brake pedal and apply the parking brake.
5. While the brake pedal is released, press and hold the VSA OFF switch. When the VSA OFF indicator turns on, press and hold the VSA OFF switch again until the VSA OFF indicator goes off.
6. Hold down the brake pedal while apply the parking brake.
7. Press and hold the VSA OFF switch while both brakes are applied. When the VSA OFF indicator turns on, press and hold the VSA OFF switch again until the VSA OFF indicator flashes and the VSA indicator turns on.
