DTC P0351, P0352, P0353, P0354 (K20C1) (2017 2018 2019)
DTC P0351: No. 1 Cylinder Ignition Coil Circuit Malfunction
DTC P0352: No. 2 Cylinder Ignition Coil Circuit Malfunction
DTC P0353: No. 3 Cylinder Ignition Coil Circuit Malfunction
DTC P0354: No. 4 Cylinder Ignition Coil Circuit Malfunction
General Description
Electrical errors in connections from the ignition driver to the ignition coils could be detected by the powertrain control module (PCM) internal circuit. The PCM identifies short circuits and open circuit. The diagnosis of lines are done every 2 rotations of crankshaft. If the ignition coil output is out of a normal range, the PCM detects a malfunction and stores a DTC.

Confirmation Procedure
Operating Condition
Start the engine, and let it idle.
With the HDS
None.
Diagnosis Details
Conditions for setting the DTC
When a malfunction is detected, the MIL comes on and a Pending DTC, a Confirmed DTC, and the freeze data are stored in the PCM memory.
Conditions for clearing the DTC
The MIL is cleared if the malfunction does not return in three consecutive trips in which the diagnostic runs. The MIL, the Pending DTC, the Confirmed DTC, and the freeze data can be cleared with the scan tool Clear command.

When to See a Mechanic
Stop DIY work and contact a certified mechanic immediately if any of the following apply:
- • You smell fuel, burning insulation, or see smoke.
- • Brakes feel soft, pull hard to one side, or make grinding noises.
- • The engine overheats, stalls repeatedly, or misfires under load.
- • You are missing required tools, torque specs, or safe lifting equipment.
- • You are not confident in the next step or safety outcome.
