NOTE: SRS components are located in this area. Review the SRS component locations Locations, and precautions and procedures Service and Repair before doing repairs or servicing.

1. Remove the steering column upper and lower covers.

2. Disconnect the 6P connector (A).





3. The LED should come on when power is connected to terminal No. 1 and ground is connected to terminal No. 2.

4. If the LED does not come on, the ignition key light is faulty; replace the steering lock.
