Navigation Communication Line Circuit Troubleshooting
- Disconnect navigation unit connector A (20P) ('07 model) or connector A (32P) ('08-10 models).
- Disconnect the climate control unit 30P connector.
- Check for continuity between the following terminals of the front climate control unit 30P connector and navigation unit connector A (20P) ('07 model) or connector A (32P) ('08-10 models).

Is there continuity?
YES - Go to step 4.
NO - Repair open in the wire(s) between the front climate control unit and the navigation unit.
- Check for continuity between body ground and the front climate control unit 30P connector No. 6, 17, and 24 terminals individually.Fig 3: Identifying Continuity Between Body Ground And Front Climate Control Unit 30P Connector No. 6, 17, And 24 Terminals

Is there continuity?
YES - Repair short to body ground in the wire(s) between the front climate control unit and the navigation unit.
NO - Check for loose wire or poor connections at the front climate control unit 30P connector and at the navigation unit connector A (20P) ('07 model) or connector A (32P) ('08-10 models). If the connections are good, substitute a known-good front climate control unit and/or navigation unit, and recheck. If the symptom/indication goes away, replace the original front climate control unit and/or navigation unit.
