Fuel Fill Pipe Removal/Installation

2009 Honda CR-V EX, 2.4 RE3SECTION Fuel Fill Pipe Removal/Installation
  1. Relieve the fuel pressure (see FUEL PRESSURE RELIEVINGΒ ).
  2. Drain the fuel tank (see FUEL TANK DRAININGΒ ).
  3. Remove the fuel fill cap.
  4. Remove the fuel fill pipe cover (A) and the fuel fill cap adapter (B).

  5. Remove the left rear wheel and its wheel speed sensors (see REAR ).
  6. Support the rear differential (4WD model) and the rear axle beam with a transmission jack.
  7. Remove the flange bolts from the bottom of the rear damper/springs (see STABILIZER BAR REPLACEMENT ).
  8. Remove the rear differential (4WD model) (see REAR DIFFERENTIAL REMOVAL ) and the rear suspension subframe mounting bolts (see REAR SUBFRAME TORQUE ).
  9. Lower the transmission jack (A) and the rear differential or the axle beam.
    NOTE: Be careful not to damage the connecting parts.
