Audio Remote Switch Test
2009 Honda CR-V EX, 2.4 RE3SECTION Audio Remote Switch Test
- Remove the steering wheel (see STEERING WHEEL REMOVAL ).
- Remove the 12P connector (A) from the audio remote switch (B).
- Measure the resistance between terminals No. 3 and No. 7 in each switch position according to the table.RESISTANCE REFERENCE CHART
Position Resistance No button pressed About 10 kΩ MODE About 3.7 kΩ CH (+) About 1.7 kΩ CH (-) About 775 Ω (VOL.UP) About 357 Ω (VOL.DOWN) About 100 Ω - If the resistance is not as specified, replace the audio remote switch (see AUDIO REMOTE SWITCH REPLACEMENT ).
- Use a diode tester between the terminals in each switch position according to the table.
- If the diode test is not as specified, replace the audio remote switch (see AUDIO REMOTE SWITCH REPLACEMENT ).
