Front Carpet
2008 Honda Odyssey EXSECTION Front Carpet
- Do the battery terminal disconnection procedure (seeBATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION AND RECONNECTION ), then wait at least 3 minutes before beginning work.
- Remove these items:
- Front seats, both sides(see FRONT SEAT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION )
- Kick panels, both sides(see step Β 2 on TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION - DOOR AREASΒ )
- Dashboard center lower cover DASHBOARD CENTER LOWER COVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION )
- Remove the front carpet (A).
- Release the Velcro fasteners (B), then pull out the carpet from under the B-pillar lower trim (C).
- Release the hooks (D) on both sides.
- Release the Velcro fastener (E) on the front edge of the carpet, then pull back the carpet from under the dashboard.
- Pull the seat harnesses (F) out through the holes in the carpet.
- Install the carpet in the reverse order of removal, and note these items:
- Take care not to damage, wrinkle or twist the carpet.
- Make sure the seat harnesses are routed correctly.
