Volume does not change

2007 Honda Ridgeline RTSSECTION Volume does not change
NOTE:
  • Check the vehicle battery condition first.
  • Set the fader and balance positions to the center.
  1. Turn the ignition switch ON (II).
  2. Turn on the audio unit and check for sound in each mode (AM, FM, XM, and disc).

    Is the sound normal? 

    YES  - Go to step 3.

    NO  - Go to AUDIO SYSTEM SOUND IS WEAK OR DISTORTED  , or NO SOUND IS HEARD FROM SPEAKERS  .

  3. Operate the volume knob to see if the volume changes.

    Does the volume change? 

    YES  - Operation is normal.

    NO  - Replace the audio unit (see AUDIO UNIT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION  ).
