2006 Honda Ridgeline RTLSECTION Voice Control Switch Test
- Remove the steering wheel (see STEERING WHEEL REMOVAL ).
- Remove the voice control switch (see STEERING WHEEL DISASSEMBLY/REASSEMBLY ).
- Measure the resistance between the terminals No. 1 and No. 2 in each switch position according to the table.RESISTANCE SPECIFICATIONS
Position Resistance OFF About 10 kΩ TALK About 2.9 kΩ BACK About 680 Ω - If the resistance is not as specified, replace the voice control switch.
- Check for continuity between the terminals in each switch position as shown.
- If the continuity check is not as specified, replace the switch.
