Remove defogger relay. See COMPONENT LOCATIONSΒ  table. Using DVOM, check for continuity between relay terminals No. 1 and 3. See Fig 1 or Fig 2 . Continuity should not exist. Using fused jumper wires, apply battery voltage to defogger relay terminal No. 2 and ground to terminal No. 4. Check for continuity between relay terminals No. 1 and 3. Continuity should exist. If continuity is not as specified, replace defogger relay.
