Wiper Switch: Testing and Inspection

1. On models equipped with radio coded theft protection system, refer to Vehicle Damage Warnings for system disarming and arming procedures. On models equipped with airbag system, refer to Technician Safety Information for system disarming and arming procedures.
2. Remove instrument panel lower panel and knee bolster.
3. Disconnect connectors from main wiring harness.
4. Check for continuity between terminals in each switch position according to table, Fig. 6. Replace switch as necessary.
5. On models equipped with radio coded theft protection system, refer to Vehicle Damage Warnings for system disarming and arming procedures. On models equipped with airbag system, refer to Technician Safety Information for system disarming and arming procedures.
2. Remove instrument panel lower panel and knee bolster.
3. Disconnect connectors from main wiring harness.
