PURPOSE
Sends a 12 volt signal to the ECM whenever the brake pedal is depressed.
LOCATION
Under the dash assembly.
OPERATION
The brake switch signal is produced by the brake light switch. This signal is processed by the ECM to modify idle speed and charging voltages as necessary.
