Cold (Fast) Idle Adjustment
1985 Honda Accord SEi, StandardSECTION Cold (Fast) Idle Adjustment
- With engine at normal operating temperature, connect tachometer to engine. Disconnect and plug inside vacuum hose to fast idle unloader.
- With engine off, open and close throttle while holding choke valve closed to engage fast idle cam. Start engine, run 1 minute, and check idle RPM. If not within specifications, adjust by turning fast idle screw.
