EGR Solenoid Vacuum (SV) Valve (California Emissions Only) Removal and Installation

REMOVAL
1. Disconnect negative battery cable.
2. Disconnect electrical connector.
3. Disconnect vacuum hoses from VSV.
4. Remove one bolt, bracket and EGR SV valve from vehicle.
INSTALLATION
1. Install EGR SV valve, bracket and one bolt.
2. Tighten to 115 in.lbs. (13 Nm).
3. Connect vacuum hose to EGR SV.
4. Connect electrical connector.
EGR Solenoid Vacuum Valve:
REMOVAL
1. Disconnect negative battery cable.
2. Disconnect electrical connector.
3. Disconnect vacuum hoses from VSV.
4. Remove one bolt, bracket and EGR SV valve from vehicle.
INSTALLATION
1. Install EGR SV valve, bracket and one bolt.
2. Tighten to 115 in.lbs. (13 Nm).
3. Connect vacuum hose to EGR SV.
4. Connect electrical connector.
