SUB-OXYGEN SENSOR (SUB-02S) REPLACEMENT


Sub-Oxygen Sensor:






Remove or Disconnect

1. Negative (-) battery cable.

^ Raise and support vehicle.

2. Sub-O2S electrical connector.

3. Two nuts and Sub-O2S from vehicle.

Install or Connect

1. Sub-O2S to vehicle; secure with two nuts.

Tighten

Sub-oxygen sensor nuts to 41 Nm (30 lb.ft.).

2. Sub-O2S electrical connector.

^ Lower vehicle.

3. Negative (-) battery cable.

Tighten

^ Negative (-) battery cable-to-negative(-) battery terminal retainer to 15 Nm (11 lb-ft).
