Ignition Switch/Steering Lock: Installation

- Position steering shaft hole in center of hole in steering column. See Fig 1 . Turn ignition on. Install steering lock assembly on steering column.
- Turn ignition to LOCK position and remove ignition key. Align hub on ignition switch with steering shaft hole. Rotate steering shaft to ensure steering shaft is locked.
- Install new retaining bolts in steering lock assembly. Tighten retaining bolts until head breaks off bolt. Turn ignition on. Ensure steering shaft rotates smoothly. Install steering column.
