Disabling SIR System (Metro Convertible)
Turn ignition switch to OFF position. Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove access cover at back of steering wheel to access Yellow 2-pin SIR connector. See Figure . Remove Connector Position Assurance (CPA) clip on Yellow 2-pin connector at back of steering wheel. Disconnect Yellow 2-pin connector. Wait 10 minutes before working on vehicle.
