Repair Procedures: Installation
2021 Genesis GV80 2.5T Advanced, AWDSECTION Installation
- Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.WARNING:
- Disconnect the battery negative cable, and wait for at least three minutes before beginning work.
- Install the knee airbag module after connect the knee airbag module connector.
Tightening torque:Β
7.8 - 11.8 N.m (0.8 - 1.2 kgf.m, 5.8 - 8.7 lb-ft)
- Install the crash pad lower panel.
(Refer to Body (Interior and Exterior) - "CRASH PAD LOWER PANEL ")
- Reconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
- After installing the knee airbag (KAB), confirm proper system operation.NOTE:
- Turn the ignition switch ON; the SRS indicator light should be turned on for about 6 seconds and then go off.
