2021 Genesis GV80 2.5T Advanced, AWDSECTION Disassembly
  1. Remove the shaft cap (A).

    NOTE:
    • When installing, replace with new shaft cap.
  2. Remove the pulley (A) after loosening the mounting nut.

  3. Remove the alternator cover (A) after removing nuts.

  4. Remove the mounting bolts and the brush holder assembly (A).

  5. Remove the slip ring guide (A) after pulling it.

  6. Remove the mounting bolt (A).

  7. Disconnect the rotor (A) and bracket (B).
