- Remove the shaft cap (A).NOTE:
- When installing, replace with new shaft cap.
- Remove the pulley (A) after loosening the mounting nut.
- Remove the alternator cover (A) after removing nuts.
- Remove the mounting bolts and the brush holder assembly (A).
- Remove the slip ring guide (A) after pulling it.
- Remove the mounting bolt (A).
- Disconnect the rotor (A) and bracket (B).
