The brake system plunger motor position sensor learn can be completed with a scan tool using the following steps:
- Place the vehicle on a flat level surface.
- Apply the parking brake, or set the transmission in the Park.
- Release the brake pedal.
- Install the scan tool to the data link connector.
- Engine running
- Select Brake System Plunger Motor Position Sensor Learn in the Brake System Control Module Configuration/Reset Functions list.
- Follow the scan tool directions to complete the learn procedure.
- If the learn procedure did not complete and a Device Control Limits Exceeded message is displayed refer to Device Control Limits Exceeded ErrorΒ
- Clear any DTCs that may be set.
