- Verify the customer has the Proactive Alert SAC003 from OnStar, or by using the Scan Tool "Vehicle Diagnostics" - "Vehicle Proactive Alerts", or Service Workbench Alerts
- If Proactive Alert SAC003 is present.Β
Refer to Battery Inspection/TestΒ , or Battery ChargingΒ
- If Proactive Alert SAC003 is present.Β
- Clear the Proactive Alert Using the Scan Tool "Vehicle Diagnostics" - "Vehicle Proactive Alerts".
- Go to next step: If Proactive Alert SAC003 is not present.Β
- All OK.
NOTE:
If Battery replacement is performed under Warranty a Warranty Code from the EL-50313 Midtronics GR8 or EL-52800 Exteq DCBS Battery Tester/Charger IS required.
