2020 GMC Acadia SLE, 2.5L Eng VIN ASECTION Circuit/System Verification

  1. Ignition/Vehicle & All vehicle systems - Off
  2. Remove the duct closest to the component: B75C Multifunction Intake Air Sensor - Outlet
  3. Install - Appropriate tool:
    • Block Off Adapter @ Intake Air Duct
    • Block Off Adapter @ Tail Pipe
  4. Install - GE-52250 Variable Pressure Leak Detector - Hose @ Appropriate tool: Block Off Adapter
  5. NOTE:
    • Before proceeding with this test, review the tool user manual for Safety Information and Instructions: GE-52250 Variable Pressure Leak Detector
    • The user manual that is supplied with the tool, is also available online, refer to GM Special Service Tools
  6. Install & Setup - GE-52250 Variable Pressure Leak Detector
    1. Select: 12 V or 120 V AC
    2. Install - Battery Cable @ C1 Battery or 120 V AC electrical cord @ Electrical outlet
    3. Install - Compressed Air - Hose
    4. Flow Control Valve - On
    5. NOTE:

      Smoke dissipation occurs at a greater rate as the pressure is increased. Smoke exiting the system may be less visible at higher pressures.

    6. Adjust - Pressure Regulator Valve - Test Pressure = 14 kPa (2 PSI)
    7. Press the switch: Vapor Test
    8. CAUTION:

      Excessive System Pressure may cause incorrect results and may damage mechanical components or seals.
