2020 GMC Acadia SLSECTION Installation Procedure
  1. Air Conditioning Compressor - Remove - AIR CONDITIONING COMPRESSOR REPLACEMENT (LSY)
  2. Water Pump - Remove - WATER PUMP REMOVAL

  3. EN-52055-2 Double Spindle (1) @ EN-52055-1 Stand Tube (2) - Install [5x]

  4. EN-52055-8 Torque Support (1) @ EN-52055-1 Stand Tube (2) - Install

  5. EN-52055-6 Thread Bar (1) @ EN-52055-1 Stand Tube (2) - Install

  6. EN-52055-8 Torque Support (1) @ Automatic Transmission - Install
  7. Install the EN-52055-5 Flexible Support Tube (2) onto the EN-52055-2 Double Spindle / EN-52055-1 Stand Tube assembly [2x].
    1. Install the support assemblies onto the GE-52200 Propulsion System Lift Table aligned to the bores in the lower crankcase extension as shown [2x].

  8. Install the EN-52055-4 Support Tube (1) onto the EN-52055-2 Double Spindle / EN-52055-1 Stand Tube assembly [2x].
    1. Install the support assemblies onto the lower crankcase extension and automatic transmission as shown.
  9. Install the EN-52055-5 Flexible Support Tube (2) onto the EN-52055-2 Double Spindle / EN-52055-1 Stand Tube assembly.
    1. Install the support assembly onto the GE-52200 Propulsion System Lift Table (4) aligned to the bore in the lower crankcase extension as shown.
  10. Install the EN-52055-6 Thread Bar (3) / EN-52055-1 Stand Tube assembly to the GE-52200 Propulsion System Lift Table (4) aligned to support the automatic transmission as shown.
    WARNING: The GE-52200-50 lift table limiting chain is for use with GE-52200 lifting tables not equipped with a mechanical stop. Refer to the operating instructions provided with the limiting chain. Failure to limit uncontrolled descent of the lifting table may result in damage and/or personal injury.
  11. Raise the GE-52200 Propulsion System Lift Table (4) until:
    1. EN-52055-1 Stand Tube (5) attached to the powertrain assembly with EN-52055-4 Support Tube (1) [2x] and EN-52055-8 Torque Support (6) meet the GE-52200 Propulsion System Lift Table (4).
    2. EN-52055-5 Flexible Support Tube (2, 7) [3x], and EN-52055-6 Thread Bar (3) are inserted into and support the powertrain assembly as shown.
  12. Bolt the EN-52055-1 Stand Tube attached to the powertrain assembly with EN-52055-4 Support Tube (1) [2x] and EN-52055-8 Torque Support (6) to the GE-52200 Propulsion System Lift Table (4).
  13. Refer to ENGINE REPLACEMENT (AWD) or ENGINE REPLACEMENT (FWD) to complete the engine replacement procedure.
