Fuel Pressure Relief (High Side)
2016 GMC Acadia SLE, FWDSECTION Fuel Pressure Relief (High Side)
WARNING:
Fuel that flows out at high pressure can cause serious injury to the skin and eyes. ALWAYS depressurize the fuel system before removing components that are under high fuel pressure.
- Remove the fuel pump control module 20A fuse from the underhood electrical center. Refer to Electrical Center Identification ViewsElectrical Center Identification Views .
- Start the vehicle and allow the engine to idle until the engine stops. The engine will stop in approximately 20-30 seconds.
- Turn the ignition OFF.
