Installation Procedure

2013 GMC Yukon Hybrid, 4WDSECTION Installation Procedure

  1. Set the bottom of ECM into the ECM bracket tab (2).
  2. Push the ECM (3) in securing the ECM to the bracket.

  4. Position the engine wiring harness electrical connectors and engage the retainers securing the connectors (2) to the ECM (1).
  5. Install the under hood electrical center. Refer to Underhood Electrical Center or Junction Block Replacement .
  6. Install the battery and battery tray. Refer to Battery Tray Replacement .
  7. Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
  8. If a NEW ECM was installed, perform the service programing system (SPS). Refer to Control Module References .
