Drive Motor 1 Control Module Programmable Logic Device Security Code
DTC P1B01
-
Drive Motor 2 Control Module Programmable Logic Device Security Code
Circuit/System Description
This diagnostic applies to internal microprocessor integrity conditions within the hybrid powertrain control module. The hybrid powertrain control module and each motor control module utilize a programmable logic device to perform certain input and output functions. Motor control module 1 programs the programmable logic device with software at every ignition ON event. Motor control modules 1 and 2 verify that the programmable logic device is programmed successfully.
Conditions for Running the DTC
* Ignition ON.
* Ignition voltage is at least 8 V and no more than 18 V.
Conditions for Setting the DTC
The control module has detected an internal programmable logic device malfunction.
Action Taken When the DTC Sets
* DTCs P1AFB and P1B01 are Type A DTCs.
* The hybrid powertrain control module commands the battery energy control module to open the high voltage contactor relays.
Conditions for Clearing the DTC
DTCs P1AFB and P1B01 are Type A DTCs.
Diagnostic Aids
An intermittent loss of battery voltage to the drive motor generator power inverter module assembly may set this DTC.
