Installation Procedure (Battery, Charging System And Starting System)
2013 GMC Savana H1500, Van CargoSECTION Installation Procedure (Battery, Charging System And Starting System)
- Install the battery tray to the vehicle.
- Connect the vacuum pump hoses and electrical connector.
- Install the battery tray bolts and tighten to 9 N.m (80 lb in).
- Install the battery.
- Install the battery hold-down retainer and bolt and tighten to 18 N.m (12 lb ft).
- Install the fender brace.
- Install the battery limiter to the vehicle if equipped.
- Install the positive battery cable to the battery and tighten to 17 N.m (13 lb ft).
- Install the battery negative cable to the battery. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and ConnectionΒ .
Tighten the terminal bolt to 17 N.m (13 lb ft).
- Install the coolant recovery reservoir and tighten to 11 N.m (97 lb in).
