Removal Procedure

2013 GMC Savana H1500, Van CargoSECTION Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the side rear door trim panel. Refer to Rear Side 60/40 Door Trim Panel Replacement - Right Side (E24, 40 Door) , Rear Side 60/40 Door Trim Panel Replacement - Right Side (E24, 60 Door) , or Rear Side 60/40 Door Trim Panel Replacement - Left Side (E26, 40 Door) , Rear Side 60/40 Door Trim Panel Replacement - Left Side (E26, 60 Door) .
  2. Fig 1: Side Rear Door Lower Latch, Lock Rod & Bolts

  3. Disconnect the side rear door lower latch lock rod (1) from the side rear door lower latch (2).
  4. Remove the bolts (4) that retain the side rear door lower latch (2) to the door.
  5. Remove the side rear door lower latch (2) from the door.
