Installation Procedure
2013 GMC RV Cutaway 4.8L Eng VIN ASECTION Installation Procedure
- Install the auxiliary HVAC module.
- Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
- Install the retaining nuts to the underside of the auxiliary HVAC module and tighten to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
- Connect the heater lines to the underside of the auxiliary heater.
- Install the one retaining nut to the auxiliary evaporator underbody rear tube assembly to the core and tighten to 28 N.m (21 lb ft).
- Install the cover to the underside of the auxiliary HVAC module.
- Lower the vehicle.
- Connect the electrical connectors to the auxiliary HVAC module (1).
- Install the air distribution duct upper. Refer to Auxiliary Air Conditioning Air Outlet Duct ReplacementΒ .
- Install the air distribution duct lower. Refer to Auxiliary Heater Air Outlet Duct ReplacementΒ .
- Install the left rear corner garnish molding. Refer to Body Rear Corner Garnish Molding Replacement .
- Install the left rear quarter trim panel. Refer to Body Side Trim Panel Replacement - Left Side .
- Evacuate and recharge the A/C system. Refer to Refrigerant Recovery and RechargingΒ .
- Fill the engine coolant. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static Fill) , Cooling System Draining and Filling (Vac N Fill) , Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static Fill Diesel) .
