Installation Procedure
2013 GMC RV Cutaway 4.8L Eng VIN ASECTION Installation Procedure
- If replacing condenser, add the specified amount of PAG oil directly into the condenser. Refer to Refrigerant System SpecificationsΒ .
- Remove the plugs from the condenser fittings.
- Install new sealing washers. Refer to Air Conditioning System Seal ReplacementΒ .
- Install the condenser.
- Install the condenser retaining bolts (3) and tighten to 9 N.m (80 lb in).
- Install the outside air temperature bracket.
- Install the outside air temperature bracket bolt (1).
- Connect the outside air temperature sensor electrical connector to the sensor (1).
- Install the evaporator hose to the condenser.
- Install the evaporator hose retaining nut (1) and tighten to 16 N.m (12 lb ft).
- Install the discharge hose to the condenser.
- Install the discharge hose nut (2) and tighten to 16 N.m (12 lb ft).
- Install the grille. Refer to Grille Replacement (Base) , Grille Replacement (Uplevel) .
- Evacuate and recharge the A/C system. Refer to Refrigerant Recovery and RechargingΒ .
- Leak test the fittings of the component using the J 39400-AΒ detector.
