Removal Procedure

2013 GMC RV Cutaway 4.8L Eng VIN ASECTION Removal Procedure
  1. Recover the air conditioning (A/C) system refrigerant. Refer to Refrigerant Recovery and RechargingΒ .
  2. Remove the air cleaner outlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement .
  3. Remove the drive belt. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement .

  5. Remove the discharge hose bolt (1) from the A/C compressor.
  6. Remove the discharge hose (4) from the A/C compressor.
  7. Remove the suction hose bolt (2) from the A/C compressor.
  8. Remove the suction hose (3) from the A/C compressor.
  9. Discard the sealing washers. Cap all of the openings.
  10. Disconnect the A/C compressor electrical connection.

  12. Remove the A/C compressor mounting bolts.
  13. Remove the A/C compressor from the vehicle.
