Removal Procedure
2013 GMC RV Cutaway 4.8L Eng VIN ASECTION Removal Procedure
- Recover the refrigerant from the A/C system. Refer to Refrigerant Recovery and RechargingΒ .
- Remove the coolant recovery reservoir. Refer to Coolant Recovery Reservoir Replacement .
- Disconnect the low pressure sensor electrical connector (2).
- Disconnect the blower motor assembly electrical connector.
- Disconnect the blower motor resistor assembly electrical connector.
- Remove the retaining nut (1) from the evaporator inlet tube.
- Remove the evaporator inlet tube retaining screw.
- Remove the evaporator inlet tube from the evaporator.
- Remove the O-ring seal.
- Remove the retaining nut (1) from the accumulator.
- Remove the accumulator from the evaporator.
- Remove the O-ring seal.
- Remove the blower module assembly screws.
- Remove the blower module assembly.
- Remove the heater assembly. Refer to Heater Assembly ReplacementΒ .
- Remove the module assembly nuts (5).
- Remove the module assembly nuts (2).
- Remove the module from the vehicle.
