2011 GMC Savana Special 4.8 ASECTION Removal Procedure

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
  2. Remove the engine cover. Refer to Engine Cover Replacement .
  3. Disconnect the engine wiring harness electrical connector (1) from the glow plug control module.

  5. Disconnect the positive battery cable (1) from the glow plug control module.

    Remove the glow plug control module bolts (1).
  7. Remove the glow plug control module (2).
