Installation Procedure
2011 GMC Savana Special 4.8 ASECTION Installation Procedure
WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
- Place the bottom edge of the ECM into the bracket lower retainers.
- Push the ECM (4) towards the bracket until the upper edge of the ECM snaps into place.
- Install the ECM mounting bolts (1).
- Connect the ECM electrical connectors (3).
- Install the master cylinder. Refer to Master Cylinder Replacement .
- Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
- If a NEW ECM was installed, program the ECM. Refer to Control Module References .
- Perform the turbocharger learn procedure. Refer to Turbocharger LearnΒ .
