Removal Procedure
2011 GMC Savana Special 4.8 ASECTION Removal Procedure

- Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
- Remove the tire and wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation .
- Remove the lower control arm. Refer to Lower Control Arm Replacement (4 Wheel Drive)Β , Lower Control Arm Replacement (RWD)Β .
- Place the lower control arm in a bench vice.
- Using a chisel, remove the 4 securing crimps from the ball joint body.
- Using a press, remove the ball joint from the lower control arm.
