EV Fan Clutch Solenoid Valve Test-Static
- Disconnect the fan clutch jumper harness connector X142.
- Test for 5-12 Ξ© between terminal B and terminal A of the jumper harness connector.
- If not within the specified range, replace the fan clutch assembly.
- Measure the resistance between the terminals listed below. The DMM should display OL.
- B and C
- B and D
- B and E
- B and the fan clutch housing/ground
- If less than the specified range, test the circuits of the jumper harness for an open/shorted condition. If the jumper harness tests normal, replace the cooling fan clutch assembly.
