  1. Raise the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  2. Disconnect the auxiliary battery negative cable from the auxiliary battery. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and ConnectionΒ .
  3. Disconnect the auxiliary battery negative ground bolt (1) from the frame.
  4. Remove the auxiliary battery negative cable (2) from the vehicle.
