Installation Procedure
2011 GMC Canyon 2D Pickup, 2.9 9, 4WD, AutomaticSECTION Installation Procedure
- Apply sealant GM P/N 12346004 (Canadian P/N 10953480) or equivalent to the heater outlet hose fitting threads.
- Install the heater outlet hose fitting. Tighten the heater outlet hose fitting to 45 N.m (33 lb ft).
- Install the heater hose inlet to the heater pipe outlet.
- Using the J 38185 , reposition the heater hose inlet clamp to the heater pipe outlet.
- Fill the engine cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static Fill) or Cooling System Draining and Filling (Vac N Fill) .
