Removal Procedure
2011 GMC Acadia SLT, FWDSECTION Removal Procedure
- Remove the fuel injection sight shield. Refer to FUEL INJECTOR SIGHT SHIELD REPLACEMENT .
- Remove the high pressure pump shield. Refer to Fuel Pipe Shield Replacement .
- Relieve the fuel system pressure. Refer to Fuel Pressure Relief (Without CH-48027) , Fuel Pressure Relief (CH-48027) , Fuel Pressure Relief (High Side) .
- Loosen the fuel rail crossover pipe (1) fitting to the right fuel rail (2).
- Loosen the fuel rail crossover pipe (1) fitting to the left fuel rail (3).
- Remove the fuel rail crossover pipe (1) from the vehicle. Discard the pipe.
