2010 GMC Savana G2500, Van Cargo Extended, 6.6 6SECTION Circuit/System Verification

  1. Ensure the transmission fluid temperature is between 50-80Β°C (122-176Β°F).
  2. Operate the vehicle in 4th, 5th, or 6th gear with TCC applied, long enough to ensure at least a 3Β°C (5Β°F) rise in TCM substrate temperature.
  3. Verify the scan tool Shift Sol. 2 CKT Status parameter displays OK.
    • If not the specified value, replace the control solenoid (w/body and TCM) valve assembly.
  4. Operate the vehicle within the Conditions for Running the DTC to verify the DTC does not reset. You may also operate the vehicle within the conditions that you observed from the Freeze Frame/Failure Records data.
