2009 GMC Canyon 4D Pickup, 2.9 9SECTION Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the intake manifold cover. Refer to Upper Intake Manifold Sight Shield Replacement .
  2. Remove the positive crankcase ventilation (PCV) line (1) from the air cleaner outlet duct.

  4. Loosen the air cleaner outlet duct clamp (1) at the air cleaner housing.

  6. Loosen the air cleaner outlet duct clamp (1) at the throttle body.
  7. Grasp the air cleaner outlet duct near the ball stud and firmly pull up in order to disengage the duct from the ball stud.
  8. Remove the air cleaner outlet duct (2) from the throttle body and the air cleaner housing.
