Removal Procedure

- Remove the intake manifold cover. Refer to Upper Intake Manifold Sight Shield Replacement .
- Remove the positive crankcase ventilation (PCV) line (1) from the air cleaner outlet duct.
- Loosen the air cleaner outlet duct clamp (1) at the air cleaner housing.
- Loosen the air cleaner outlet duct clamp (1) at the throttle body.
- Grasp the air cleaner outlet duct near the ball stud and firmly pull up in order to disengage the duct from the ball stud.
- Remove the air cleaner outlet duct (2) from the throttle body and the air cleaner housing.
