- Remove the air cleaner outlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Resonator Outlet Duct Replacement .
- Release the air cleaner upper housing retainer clips (1).
- Open the air cleaner upper housing (1).
- Remove the air filter element (2) from the lower air cleaner housing.
- Inspect the air cleaner assembly for debris or damage and repair as necessary.
