  1. Remove the air cleaner outlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Resonator Outlet Duct ReplacementΒ .
  2. Release the air cleaner upper housing retainer clips (1).
  3. Fig 2: Air Cleaner Upper Housing & Air Filter Element

  4. Open the air cleaner upper housing (1).
  5. Remove the air filter element (2) from the lower air cleaner housing.
  6. Inspect the air cleaner assembly for debris or damage and repair as necessary.
